Privacy Policy

About this policy

TechSecure DigiPay (the "app") is built and run by TechSecure. In this policy, "we", "us" and "our" mean TechSecure, and "you" means the person who installs or uses the app and any connected services. This policy sets out what information we handle when you use the app, why we handle it, and the choices and rights you have. By using the app, you accept the practices described here.

Information we handle

When you install and use the app, we may handle a limited set of information, including:

• the Internet Protocol (IP) address of your device
• which screens of the app you open, and the date, time and length of those visits
• how much time you spend using the app overall
• the type and version of the mobile operating system on your device

Some features also ask you to give us information directly, such as the mobile number you use to sign in. We only ask for what a feature actually needs, and we use it as described in this policy.

Cookies, SDKs and similar technologies

The app, and the third-party software kits built into it, may use cookies, SDKs, pixels and comparable technologies to run features, measure performance and deliver the service. Where the law requires it, we will ask for your permission before switching on any non-essential tracking.

How we use information

We use the information we handle to operate the app, keep it working reliably, improve it, send you the service messages and notices you need to receive, and — only where the law allows — tell you about updates to the product.

Your rights

You can ask us to show you the personal data we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. Where our handling of your data relies on your consent, you can withdraw that consent at any time. To make any of these requests, write to us at admin@techsecuresoftware.com.

California residents (CCPA/CPRA)

If you live in California, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, to have it deleted, to opt out of any sale or sharing of it, and not to be treated differently for exercising these rights. To use them, contact us at admin@techsecuresoftware.com.

Sharing with third parties

We do not sell your personal information. Anything we send to outside services to help us improve the app is aggregated and stripped of details that identify you. Beyond that, we may share information only:

• when the law requires it, for example in response to a subpoena or similar legal process;
• when we genuinely believe it is needed to protect our rights, your safety or the safety of others, to investigate fraud, or to answer a lawful government request; or
• with trusted suppliers who process it on our behalf, under instructions consistent with this policy, and who may not use it for their own purposes.

The app relies on third-party services that keep their own privacy policies. The service we use is:

• Firebase Crashlytics

International transfers

We, or the suppliers who process data for us, may move personal data to countries other than the one where you live, including outside the European Economic Area. Where the law requires protection for such a transfer, we rely on a recognised safeguard, such as:

• Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission
• an adequacy decision or another transfer mechanism recognised by law
• your consent, where that is permitted and appropriate

Data protection rules elsewhere may differ from those where you live. Where the law requires it, we apply suitable safeguards and obtain any consent needed before transferring data.

Stopping collection

You can stop the app collecting any further information from your device by uninstalling it through your device's or app store's normal process. Uninstalling ends collection from that point on, but it does not by itself erase information that has already been shared with us or with third parties. To ask us to delete that information, or to exercise any of your rights, contact us at admin@techsecuresoftware.com.

How long we keep information

We keep personal data only for as long as it is needed for the purposes above:

• information you provide directly: kept while you use the app and for 12 months afterwards, unless the law requires us to keep it longer
• information collected automatically: kept for up to 24 months from collection, unless a longer period is needed to meet a legal obligation
• aggregated and anonymised information: kept indefinitely, because it no longer identifies you
• information needed for legal compliance: kept for as long as the law requires

You can ask us to delete your personal data at any time, subject to any legal duty we have to retain it. Some of the information you have provided may be necessary for the app to work, and deleting it may limit what the app can do.

Children

The app is not meant for children under 16, or an older age where local law sets a higher threshold. We do not knowingly ask children for information or market the app to them, and where the law requires a parent's or guardian's consent, the app is not intended to be used without it. If we learn that a child has given us personal information, we will delete it promptly. A parent or guardian who believes their child has provided us with information should contact us at admin@techsecuresoftware.com so that we can act.

Security

We take the protection of your information seriously and maintain physical, electronic and procedural measures designed to safeguard the data we process and hold. No method of storage or transmission is ever completely secure, but we work to keep your information protected.

If a breach happens

If a breach affects your personal data, we will notify you as the law requires, including — where required — telling you what happened and what we are doing about it.

Changes to this policy

We may revise this policy over time. When we make a material change, we will post the updated policy with a new effective date, and where the law requires it we will ask for your consent before the change takes effect. Earlier versions are kept and can be requested at admin@techsecuresoftware.com.

This policy takes effect on 2026-07-21.

Consent

Where we rely on your consent to handle information, you give it by actively choosing to use the relevant feature. You can withdraw it at any time, which will not affect anything we did before you withdrew it. Where we rely on another lawful basis, we handle information as set out above.
